Rodolfo

Rodolfo is a hard-working young man from the town of El Zonte. He has worked extremely hard getting through school, from elementary to high school, with essentially the odds against him.  School in El Salvador is difficult and a lot of kids don’t have the help or attention they need to continue their studies. Especially when you don’t have many examples in the community that have finished high school. Rodolfo is finishing his last year in high school this November. He has a focus this last year on an accounting back ground. He is desperately hoping to attended University and continue his accounting degree. If he gets this degree, he will have a much better chance of earning a living and helping his family slowly move out of poverty. Which is the overall plan for The Community Build

David

David is 19 years old. When he was finishing his studies in 9th grade. He spoke with his parents. He told them I want to continue my education (David’s dad works in the fields and his mother is a homemaker, they both have only elementary school education). His parents told him to think carefully about what he wanted to become and accomplish in this life; they do not have a lot of money but they were willing to help in any way necessary. To further his education.

He began High School in 2016 and didn’t finish school that year because he needed to work to help raise money for the family. He went to work that year with his father in the fields. Then in 2017 went back to school and finished the grade he missed the year before.

Today David is in his last year of High School. He is very excited about continuing his education to University. David’s dream is to graduate as a teacher of English. With this degree he knows he has chance of good employment. David’s family has little to no way of paying the Universities tuition. His hope is to graduate university and help provide for his family and his parents that have worked so hard to help him get this far. Please join us in helping David fulfill his dream of graduating from University.

Fredis

Fredis is studying for a career in Information Systems Technical Engineering at the University level. He is 21 years old and lives in El Zonte. In 2013 to 2015 he was given the opportunity to study in high school on a scholarship. Being able to attend school was a new world for him. He was recognized as the best movie script writer of 2013, recognition of the best tourist investigation in 2014, Honorary mention for best editing of thesis in 2014 and prize for the best academic performance in 2015.

El Salvador is a nation with few opportunities. With a low economic index, families are not able to cover the cost of education. Yet, they have the blessing of knowing persons that can help. A scholarship is a great gift, a great blessing and an opportunity to strive for the best.

Transportation Donations

Our hope is to purchase one more vehicle. This vehicle will be used to take the children from El Zonte to San Salvador for University. This allows the children safe, free, speedy transportation to University. Without this vehicle the children spend 4 extra hours a day riding the bus this bus ride costs each way. In most cases the bus ride is not possible because they don’t have the money or the ability to work. Which leaves them with no extra money to pay for a bus ticket. As they are spending the majority of the day getting to school and in classes. With this vehicle it will allow the children to be home from school early enough to focus on homework, or to work a part time job to help their family with bills.
